I'm so over this patrolling business. I never really thought I would be here but it's actually gotten old seeing people so scared all the time. I just wish I had my boutique back and was bringing in the money doing something I actually love doing. I don't want to get a job as some loser assistant in someone's robe shop either.
To tell you the truth, I only started working for the Ministry because I wanted to be on the side of things where I wouldn't be a constantly on my guard. It's not like I love searching people's homes and watching kids hide behind their parents like I'm some kind of vampire.

Okay, I can't find one of my bags. I typically don't always carry a bag or purse but I can't find this one and it has a bunch of my shit in it. Did I leave it at your place Gabe? I haven't seen it at work.
Other than that, I went to St. Mungo's yesterday. Seems like I've got a few bad habits and was given a finger shake at me by a healer. Who knew vomiting after eating every once in a while was a bad thing

Rat. There is was a rat in the kitchen. I might have broken a few dishes but I killed it! It seems so much easier to me to smash something like that then to kill it with magic. It's also so much more satisfying! Besides... I panicked and couldn't find my wand.

Patrolling today. I really don't feel like being out of the house. One of those kind of days I guess, which probably means I'm not going to be very nice if anyone does anything stupid. Just FYI.
At least I'm on lunch now, eating an amazing sandwich and dreaming about napping.

So I'm walking down the road not far from my shop, just going to lunch when this asshole dressed in leaves comes jumping out of the bushes in front of me and starts dancing on the sidewalk before he jumps back into the bushes where I can't see him. What the hell! I would have done him some damage if I hadn't been screaming and running the other way... Not my proudest moment, I'll admit that much.

Things have been going great with the expansions to the shop next door. All fire damage has been repaired and there's fresh paint and industrial details added in. We're just about ready to get merchandise in there and open up with a big to-do to celebrate.
I tried thinking about this whole holiday spirit thing and I can honestly say that I haven't felt any happier during this time of year than the rest of it. In all honesty it horrible and cold. Things were the same this time of year in America, just a different group of people.

When I bought the location for Bulshite I hadn't thought it would get as much attention as it has been, so I've been thinking about expanding for awhile now. I didn't want to be in an entirely different location if I could help it, more that I wanted to expand from the building we were already in. The shop next door would be a perfect addition.
Just the other day, that very shop caught on fire and the damage was so extensive that the owners couldn't afford to have it fixed and still operate their business, which was some unknown thing or another. Sad, really. So they sold it. To me.
Poor muggles can't just wave it away with magic.
Funny how things just happen to work out like that, yeah?
Bulshite is expanding.

Italy is amazing. Yeah, it's been said, but it's nothing like actually being there. So I came back and worked on a few ideas I've had brewing and some things Pansy and I have talked about doing and we came up with these.
